MK Pudding Club to Raise Funds for Willen Hospice
We are delighted to announce that the next MK Pudding Club held on Saturday 4th May; will be helping to raise awareness and donations towards Milton Keynes charity – Willen Hospice.
Willen Hospice is an independent charity that provides specialist care to people with life limiting illnesses from the age of 18 years upwards in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Their vision is to always be there to care and although their services are free, they need to raise around £4.7million every year to continue to offer that care. That’s £9 every minute so they rely greatly on the generosity and support of the local community.
MK Pudding Club which was officially launched in March by the Mayor of Milton Keynes; is a monthly event to celebrate the wonderful and historic tradition of the steamed pudding. It is held in the Dining Room here at The Fenny Kitchen in our beautiful recently refurbished 17th Century listed building.
The menu on the night will be a choice of Bacon and Onion Steam Pudding or Field Mushroom and Leak Steam Pudding with vegetables and gravy for the main course; followed by Jam Roly Poly or Spotted Dick with custard for dessert. Guests are also welcome to choose from the main menu if they wish to do so.
Guests are asked to arrive at 6.30pm to start eating at 7pm and to enable diners to donate, the prices of the food that night will be reduced for this event only. We hope that many people locally and in the wider Milton Keynes community will be able to come along and support this great cause.
It is advised to book a table in advance by either messaging or telephoning us; and to let us know you are booking for the MK Pudding Club event rather than for the main restaurant.
