Mayor Officially Launches MK Pudding Club at The Fenny Kitchen

The Mayor of Milton Keynes and Tony Keller cut the first official Steamed Pudding to Launch MK Pudding Club

The Fenny Kitchen was honoured to have the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Martin Petchey, officially launch the new MK Pudding Club on Saturday 2nd March. The Mayor spoke a few words about this exciting new venture for Milton Keynes diners; and introduced his chosen charity for the night, after which Tony Keller, the owner of The Fenny Kitchen thanked the Mayor for joining them and welcomed all the guests. The MK Pudding Club is a monthly event to celebrate the wonderful and historic tradition of the steamed pudding, therefore, the Mayor finished by officially cutting the first steamed pudding to be served up to the guests. The menu on the night was a choice of Bacon and Onion Steam Pudding or Field Mushroom and Leak Steam Pudding with vegetables and gravy for the main course; followed by Jam Roly Poly or Spotted Dick with custard for dessert.

Guests on the night were asked to donate to the Mayor’s chosen charity; which was The Bus Shelter MK. To enable diners to donate, the prices of the food were reduced for the event.
